Peoples First would like to congratulate Mrs. Dale Sanders, CSA in our commercial lines department. On June 14, Dale and Tony Sanders exchanged vows in North Myrtle Beach. Participating in the ceremony were Dale’s two sons, Austin and Jordan, and Tony’s three children, Sarah, Tony, and Ben. Peoples First would like to welcome Ken Dunnett and Karl Long to the Commercial Lines Department. Mr. Dunnett, who serves as the Commercial Lines Coordinator, brings over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry to his position. He is a resident of Fort Mill. Mr. Long serves as a Senior Broker and Risk Consultant. He has worked in the industry for over 20 years, and his background includes both agency and global brokerage experience. Karl is a veteran and served in the SC Air National Guard and in the 1st Gulf War. Peoples First would like to welcome both of these qualified professionals to our staff.

In order to receive the title of Certified Insurance Service Representative, LeeAnn had to complete 35 hours of training covering various aspects of personal and commercial insurance. The fifth annual Peoples First golf tournament benefitting the York County Chapter of the United Way held on May 6, 2008, was a huge success. The event which brought together numerous local golfers and sponsors raised $6,000 for the United Way. Two Peoples First Insurance personal lines staff members recently completed extensive training to acquire designations in their respective fields. Vicki Keisel completed five courses covering both commercial and personal lines training to receive her CISR, Certified Insurance Representative, designation.
Milton Beaty, a sales agent in our Rock Hill office, completed nine classes to obtain his AAI, Accredited Advisor in Insurance, designation. Congratulations!!
